My PC was purchased last year with Vista Home Premium already installed and not an upgrade from XP (if that makes a difference). The Cap Wiz comes up fine but as soon as I try the "Preview" or "Record" options is when the BSOD comes up. Message at the top states "BAD_POOL_HEADER" along with the usual codes at the bottom like 0x00000019 and you could probably guess the rest. Anyway, even with this most recent driver it still doesn't work only this time is the Blue Screen of Death. At that time, it was something like version 2.6 from 2006. Is this the most recent one? It took forever before I could the newest one that I knew of loaded because prior to this Cap Wiz kept giving an error message that the driver needs updated. The Vista driver version is 3.0, created 1/31/07. I went to ADS Tech's website and downloaded both new drivers for Vista (Cap Wiz and one for recognizing that the Xpress device is connected to the PC). Long time reader first time poster Actually I haven't posted before because I've usually been able to find the answer I was looking for without having to post a new thread.
